BIO

Jonathan Mehring is an award-winning photographer and director based in NYC and RVA.

Author of Skate the World - Photographing One World of Skateboarding, published by National Geographic. His unique style of adventure travel coupled with action and lifestyle photography has taken him to over 30 countries around the globe. Some of these epic journeys include riding motorbikes through Vietnam, taking a riverboat along the Amazon, riding the Trans Siberian Railway, and road tripping through India, all with a skateboard by his side. Recently he has been concentrating on advertising work with a focus on action, sports, and lifestyle.

Commercial Clients include Adidas, Levi's, Vans, Nike, Converse, RVCA, and Red Bull.

Editorial clients include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Huck Magazine, Thrasher Magazine, Skateboarder Magazine, Transworld Skateboarding, and Monster Children.

He has exhibited his photographs at galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Sydney, Rotterdam, Köln, Honolulu, and Richmond, VA. 

He now splits his time between NYC and Richmond, VA and wherever his work takes him.
